We are Bath’s LGBTQ+ choir

Bath Queer Choir is a community choir for LGBTQ+ adults in Bath and the surrounding areas. New members are always welcome!

  • If you want a wonderful friendly and warm queer space, where you can sing without fear of judgement, no matter your level of ability, this is the place to be! Our evenings include an abundance of joy and laughter, as well as singing the songs we choose together. :)

  • Bath Queer Choir has become so important to me over just a few months. Growing up queer in Bath was difficult - it certainly is nowhere near the worst place to be queer, but it isn't a place that champions queerness either. This choir has been the first time I've felt like I've had a supportive group of understanding queer people around me in the place I grew up; it's done me a world of good. After covid, I felt so nervous socially, especially in larger groups. This group has helped me re-find my confidence and I feel better in myself for it.

  • I don't feel the need to be anything other than myself at choir, I don't even feel the need to be a fantastic singer - just somebody willing to try my best. I know every week that I will show up, enjoy the company of those around me, have a good sing, and take my mind off of any problems or challenges I have. I feel more embedded in my community, both the queer community and Bath, as a result. If you want a queer group that you can be yourself in and you want to learn about music doing it, I would recommend this choir endlessly.
